Client Relationship Manager

Michigan Planners is a third-generation employee benefits agency that is expanding quickly based on our high-tech and high-touch approach to employers and their workforces. Join our creative and collaborative agency with enormous opportunity to learn and grow! In this role, you will maintain a professional working relationship with the key contacts of the block of business assigned to you and successfully partner and provide recommendations to them on their employee benefits needs. You will work closely with our internal Enrollment, Plan Analyst, Compliance, and Claims teams to ensure updates to their accounts occur in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • 3-5 years of industry experience working in Client Services or as an Account Manager.
  • An ownership mentality, contagious energy, and leadership skills that portray confidence in your team members and clients.
  • A passion for providing a white glove level of customer service.
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with Zywave, BrokerageBuilder, and/or Employee Navigator strongly preferred.
  • Solid interpersonal, oral & written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to successfully work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven background prioritizing and managing multiple projects & client needs concurrently.
  • Currently have or able to obtain a State of Michigan Life & Health Insurance License within 6 months of employment.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Enrollment Coordinator

Are you eager to begin your insurance career in a role that provides the education and groundwork to employer group health insurance? We are a third-generation employee benefits agency that is expanding quickly based on our high-tech and high-touch approach to employers and their workforces. Join our creative and collaborative agency with enormous opportunity to learn and grow! In this role, you will provide unparalleled customer support to employer groups and provide benefits support to clients & their employees. You will review and process group membership changes, gather data from clients &/or insurance carriers, and build client partnerships.
