As we welcome the summer breeze and sunshine (if we are lucky here in the Midwest), we also welcome another less known event, Men’s Health Awareness Month!
As you make summer plans to spend more time with the family or travel the globe, make sure you are taking care of yourself, or helping the men in your life obtain the necessary preventive screenings recommended for them.
The ACA is in jeopardy of being amended, but the opportunity to receive free preventive screenings is still in play. Whether it’s a Tdap immunization, cholesterol screening, or the dreaded colonoscopy, boys and men of all ages have a reason to see their primary care physician.
