As I began to write this morning, my mind kept shifting back to the recent devastation of hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Today it makes sense to take a moment and think about those who have been directly or indirectly impacted by these powerful storms. Today, I use this forum as a call to action.
One of Michigan Planners’ clients, Blue Water Trucking, is transporting much-needed items, such as non-perishable food, water, diapers, and toiletry items to Houston.
Collections will be taken this week and can be dropped off at 805 S. Lapeer Rd., Oxford, MI. The Michigan Planners team will be dropping off donations, and we are more than happy to coordinate any items you may want to donate for this cause. Let’s take a break from our normal week to lend a hand where we can, and keep those impacted in our thoughts.
