Cost Containment: Strategies for Rising Rates: A Michigan Planners' educational series designed to explore practical approaches to containing rising employee benefit costs through smarter funding strategies, plan design, and long-term planning, helping employers stay ahead of renewal season pressures.

Summary:

This two-hour, in-person roundtable is designed for mid-market employers exploring alternative funding models to better control rising benefit costs. Through guided discussion and peer conversation, we will walk through common funding approaches being considered by employers in the 50–250+ employee range and share practical considerations around what may be realistic at different stages of growth. Additional panel details and discussion topics will be shared as the session is finalized.

Please note: this roundtable will be offered on two separate dates and locations. April 14th will be hosted at our Washington office, and April 21st will be hosted at our Traverse City office. Attendees should register for the session location they plan to attend.
